Dave was WTVN's news director from 1984 to 1993. Following his radio career, Dave spent three years with the Ohio Department of Development as executive director of the First Frontier Fund, a cooperative marketing project that took him into every county in Ohio.

Now, as president of CAN DO! Dave is working to bring new business and industry to Marion County. CAN DO! is developing a new Dual Rail Industrial Park on Marion's northwest side. The first company in the park is LTV Steel's new tubular division.

. Dave grew up in the Baltimore, Maryland area. He is a graduate of Denison University. He and his wife, Karen make their home in Marion. He has three children and two dogs--Matt, Daniel, Kelly--Scruffy and Abby.
